Consider an early start

An earlier move can reduce the amount of heavy work performed during the hottest part of the day. It can also help with traffic, although the best start time depends on your route and building rules.

Book important dates early

Weekends, month-end dates and common lease-change periods can fill quickly. If you need a specific elevator reservation or moving date, coordinate the building and mover before your options narrow.

Keep water accessible
